Amish-Made Decorative Gristmills with Waterwheels

Handcrafted in Pennsylvania by an Amish craftsman, these gristmills have a working water wheel attached! This gristmill with waterwheel come complete with a small, adjustable electric pump for recirculating the water and a sealed plastic basin to hold water in the wooden trough. The shafts are zinc-coated and the bearings are sealed.

Requires partial assembly. They come in three pieces and requires a drill driver or similar tool with a square bit to put eight square-head screws into pre-drilled holes to fasten the gristmill to the wooden water tray. They also require a 1/2" wrench to put the waterwheel in place and tighten a nut on the axle.

Because of the inherent characteristics of wood, these gristmills may include knots and other natural blemishes. All wood products include natural variations such that no two gristmills will be identical.

Important: All wooden products sold unfinished should be finished immediately with a paint or stain by the customer. No wood products should be left unfinished, as they are extremely susceptible, especially to humidity or water damage, in this state. Unfinished products should not be purchased unless adequate weather-safe storage is available while the product awaits treatment.
